Whazzup Bloggers! It's only been a couple of days!

GUUUUUUUUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I got my first book published!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL APRIL FOOLS!

Hiddleston Laughing

I said that I would explain my semi-break from the Internet. Here is my explanation. I had family that came up at the end of March and we were so busy having fun that I forgot I had a blog. I was too busy!! On that note, my sister and brother-in-law might be able to move into our area so they are only about an hour away from us, and HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?? you must pray about it 8-D

Anyway, that is my excuse.

How has it been all you all? I guess I have been just as lazy about blogging as I have about writing. *squirms a bit* I would say "I have no tiiiiiime." in a whiny voice, but that isn't exactly true. I have time. I'm just lazy. Too lazy to be creative. creativity is exhausting. So is world building. Don't you hate the word why? That word drive me nuts.

So this queen is super evil -

But why?

Well she became that way after her dad died.

But why??

Because her daddy was evil.

BUT WHY?

Because he had an unhealthy desire to take over the world.

But why?

Because -

But why??

*smashes why and crumbles it and laughs*

I've been doing some world-building. In case you didn't catch on. I actually really love world-building. It is one of my favorite parts of writing. The problem is I love it a little too much. I always want to do more, build more, make more history and more reasons and more layers and the big four!(what where when why..) It get hung up on the details and its really bad.

There is a story I decided to work on a few months ago. It is about a Father and a son who go on a quest, and they have cool names. The father is Killian and the son is Cyril and they are both a lot of fun to write. It is a really good story, I think, and I am excited about it. But it is going to take a TON of world-building. Everything about the world, Firian, excites me. It is a whole country, a whole civilization of people and there is all this magic and mystery and I LOVE it. I want to write about it this month but I feel like I still don't have enough history behind my story.

Soooo.... Maybe I will work on my Baxter story instead.

It has been difficult for me to write.  I know I keep coming back to this but writing is really hard. I didn't realize what I was getting myself into when I decided to be a writer. Its hard and emotional and it means a huge commitment. It kind of terrifies me, but at the same time, I love it. I love it so much.

Sometimes if I am too tired to write I end up scrolling out lyrics to random songs. Lyrics come easily to me when I'm tired. I've started a sort of collection and I decided I was going to be brave and share one with you. It was greatly inspired by the character Cyril in my book. I hope you all like it 8-)

"CLOCKWORK HEART"

There is cold under my Skin
And Ice in My Chest
I've been hollowed out
I've lost myself.

(refrain)

Tick-tock, my clockwork heart, tick tock, on rusty hinges
Tick-tock, In the dark
My Clockwork Heart ticks On

I never knew breathing could be so hard
i never knew that fighting could be such an effort
and now I'm here, oh so alone
and even my love has betrayed me.
You don't Know what a gift Feelings are.
Until you are robbed of them All

(refrain)

It's getting now, for my gauges to move
My strength is trying to wither
Can I stay strong somehow,
oh, can I survive the winter?

I won't surrender yet! I will dig myself free
My clockwork heart will  beat again
Beat and destroy me.

(refrain)

Tick-tock, my clockwork heart, tick tock, on rusty hinges
Tick-tock, In the dark
My Clockwork Heart ticks On

Tick-tock, my clockwork heart; is it beating now?
Tick-tock, my clockwork heart - wait! *dumdum*
I hear a sound.

There! I shared that instead of a snippet. Today starts CampNaNo and I think I am have lots to do, so I have to bid you all farewell. Peace out y'all!!!

Bothersome: causing bother; troublesome

It has been a long, bothersome week. Not for any reason in particular, just because. My acting class has been super stressful and my teacher is terrifying to a point that I can't wait for this class to be over. Which is sad, cause I love to act. I just don't like... the class. I started Camp NaNo at the beginning of this month and it has been the worst first-week-of-NaNo I've had in a really long time. I seem to be in a writing funk. So I tried to sit down and read Raven Boys and instead I started crying for some bizarre reason and gave myself a headache so I couldn't read anymore. This has been happening with all my reading material. Have you ever been so tired and emotional you just can't read? Yeah. That's been my state for weeks now. Apparently I am in a reading funk too. So then I thought - LETS TRY A DIFFERENT ANGLE!!! - and I tried to start my second Conspiracy of Thrones book. I didn't get far. I have some major WWII stuff to dig into.

Yay.

Sorry guys. We had the time change so I'm tried and kind of cranky and on top of that my writing computer is inoperable because it's plug is gone and without that it has like, twenty-minutes before the battery dies. And my other computer did updates all day so I couldn't work on my music video which I had planned to finish today.

It's still doing updates.

Then I pulled out my school binder and half of my lessons plans were water-warped.

And the last of my birthday chocolate got eaten by A Wee Person who shall remain nameless.

I'm not in a good mood right now.

I am Bob

Anyway, I figured it had been a while since I posted and I should probably wave or something to tell you I am not dead.

Yep. We've got a gif for that too.

Despite my frustration I am still working on my stories. I just don't have a personal computer anymore so it's going to take me a while to get stuff done on a borrowed one. Especially since the end of the school year is coming up and I do NOT want to fall behind. Seriously. Graduation guys. I'm gonna be GRADUATING.

I know, Rory. I know.

Graduation scares me. It means growing up and getting a job and trying to pursue acting and writing (FOR REAL) and I get this anxious knot and feel sick just thinking about it.

Pray for me!!!!!!!!

Anyway

Remember how I said I wanted Beta readers for my first Conspiracy of Thrones book? If you still want the book I will send it to a couple of people, but I can't give it to more than five. *sad face* I know. I'm sorry. It's just, I've been doing a lot of thinking an the thing is... I am going to try and Traditionally publish my masterpiece(s). So I need to be careful, ya' know? I don't want my story leaking out before its time. Also, I REALLY need editors. There is already one person who has volunteered to read as an editor, but if there are a few of you who just want to kind of critique it for fun, that would be great 8-) Email me!

bellawriter98 (@gmail.com)

I have family coming up at the end of this month!! I am excited! Please pray about that cause if all goes well they might be able to move out permanently. which would be EPIC.

I am also reading an odd book by G.K. Chesterton. I keep laughing to myself while I read because it is so strange and ridiculous. And now I'm saying things like "This person is most absurd, I observe, and altogether unintelligent." I'm not kidding. I don't even think before I speak, it just happens.

But hey I'm reading! Maybe I'm getting out of my rut!

PEACE OUT Y'ALL!!!

NaNo Blog Party: Day the Third

#BECAUSE JENSEN
Lalala Weekeeeeeeeeeeeeeeend!!! Don't you love weekends?? I know, they are so awesome!! Too bad you only get one a week. you should have two or three. One work day six blank days. Doesn't that sound like a good plan? Yeah, I thought so too.

Why am I not president yet?

Today is the last day of my fun little NaNo party and it is a day you can do basically anything on. You can post snippets or quotes. You can talk about inspirations or your general writing experience. You can post pictures or Book covers or do interviews: basically you can do anything, anything at all! I'm going to post a few quotes from my book, ones that are my special favorites. It should be fun.

Also, I do have another Blog which I share with my space adventurer. It ... uhm... We tend to forget about the Dear Little Thing so we don't have much on it yet. But I'm going to try to be better about posting on it and reminding you all to check it out. Jim and I will probably post over there at least before the end of the Month... at least I will. So stay alert 8-)

QUOTE TIME!

  "Reapers don't exist, wise guy.”
“Maybe not,” said Sean, “but that's what this sounds like.”
“Since when are you a Reper expert?”

“Since I've read every Grimm fairytale that's ever existed.”

“You're still on the mend you know,” said Sean.
“I'll be fine,” Alex promised. “You worry too much.”
“I know,” said Sean

“I'm ready to go now. That is if you and the wall are finished bonding.”

"This is real. I wonder if that means there's a chance for Santa Clause."

"I'm older than you."
"Only by 36 minutes."

“Orange juice,” he said happily. “We have orange juice!”

“It builds character. It isn't like my face has much going for it anyway.”
 “How about your lip?”
“That builds character too,”

Last but not least the bit I've written as of right now.

“I don't know.” he said finally. I'm just not sure."
“I do. I think... I know it sounds crazy but I think I am.
"Crazy?"
"Sure." Sean lifted the book and held it out in front of him so that the pages were open toward Alex.

BECAUSE BESTIES

So it ends.

ONE LAST THING!! Today pick one word that best sums up your Main character, your side character and your antagonist. (Separately of course. Not one word for all three.)

Alex: Funny

Sean: Sweet

Death: Resilient.

NaNo Blog Party: Day the Second

Today we are going to introduce book characters, And we get to do it with a tag! Lalalalalala!

1.) Who is your main character?

My Main character is Alex Gregory.

2.) What is your character's age and what is his point in the story?

Alex is sixteen years old. He is the hero of the story and he is meant to stop the Tempest and save the world from a second world war.

3.) What does your character look like?

He is kind of shorter, but not excessively so. He has light, sandy-blond hair and a nice smile and he has dark eyes. He's athletic and charming and just an all-around good looking kid. He's the type of boy who would be dubbed as a heart breaker when he gets older.

Alex J. Gregory.

He is a little more blond than that picture, but it is very close

4.) What are some of your characters best qualities?

Alex is a very good friend. He will always be there for you, no matter what. He's brave and clever and and the nicest kind of nerd. He's funny and he tries to break the ice in any situation, no matter how bad it is. He likes to tease, and a little bit of that comes from him being a big brother. He especially likes making people laugh, which is another reason for the teasing.

5.) What are some of your characters worse qualities?

He doesn't like admitting he isn't okay and it generally takes a good deal of poking to make him talk about something that is really bothering him. Usually if he's under a lot of emotional strain or stress he tends to just get loud and angry and difficult to be around. He wants to protect those he loves which isn't a bad thing, but sometimes that means he pushes them out and that isn't the greatest thing in the world. He keeps a lot of problems bottled up in side of him and tends to get snappy when he has to face them. He doesn't like facing his problems.

6.) What is one thing you don't like about your character?

He's stubborn and idiotic. Okay?

7.) What is one thing about your character that you especially admire?

He doesn't let people push him around and he stands up against what's evil. He has a very high idea of what is right and wrong, and he makes hard decisions and I'm proud of him for it. He doesn't get scared very often, and even if he does when it comes down to it, he will stand up to his fears.

8.) Who is/are your side characters? (this can include the villains - antagonists- whatever)

I have two MAIN side characters. One is Sean. Sean is Alex's best friend and he is basically the second main character. he even gets chapters told from his view point and everything. The other main character is... well Death. Yes, Death is a side character. But he is more of a third-character type. He isn't really a villain. He is an antagonist. And to be honest, I kind of like him.

Sean Patrick Kellerman

I have no picture for Death. My Apologies. I looked around but I couldn't find anyone that would fit him. All I know is that he's not this guy:

Death likes milkshakes. don't judge

9.) What is your side character(s) age and what is/are his point in the story?

Sean is sixteen and he is older by Alex by exactly 36 minutes. (It's true. Sean was born at 11:25 on Saturday night and Alex was born 12:01 on Sunday morning.) He is Alex's main anchor in the story and becomes a great part in how the war is stopped and the Tempests destroyed.

10.) What does your side character(s) look like?

Sean is pretty short, He's shorter than Alex which he finds beastly unfair since he is older than him. He is kind of scrawny and small. He has brown hair that sticks up in strange place and light brown eyes that sometimes look green if he looks up just right. He has an odd face (some would call it ugly, but it really isn't) but when he smiles everything about him changes so he's just adorable. He gets cuter the longer you know him.

Death can take many shapes but in my story he is most seen as a young boy with dark black hair. He is dressed all in black.

11.) What are some of your character's best qualities?

Sean is a sweetheart. He is never going through something so bad that he doesn't have time to take care of other people. He worries about everyone and is always trying to help with anything he can. He's soft spoken and quiet but if you get him with someone he really knows he opens up a little more.

Death is Death. He is kind of cynical shares bitter humor with the world.

12.) What are some of your character's worse qualities?

Sean is usually pretty solid and he tends to take things head-on. He goes with the flow and tries not to make trouble. Sometimes though, he can be reckless and if he is pushed to hard he has a terrible temper and it's harder for him to get back once he loses control. He is always trying to see the best in everyone and sometimes he is almost too kind. He'll take a lot of beatings from a lot of people before he fights back.

The fact that Death keeps popping up and won't leave Alex alone, THAT is really annoying.

13.) What is one thing you don't like about your character(s)?

He's... I guess... he doesn't think very well of himself and that makes me sad.

DEATH KEEPS TRYING TO MAKE ALEX DIE AND STAY DEAD.

14.) What is one thing about your character(s) that you especially admire?

Sean is very, very sweet and very quiet. Some people are silly and mistake his quiet for cowardice, but that isn't the case at all. Sean is very brave. He is a lot braver than most people would give him credit for, and he is strong in ways that Alex couldn't be. He has more of a inner strength. That isn't to say Alex doesn't - he does. But Sean has it in a different way.

Death knows how to be a good loser. and he isn't really evil. He's just death. He has a job to do and he wants to get it done.

15.) What are your characters relationships to each other?

Death is after Alex. Alex was supposed to die and it is Death's job to make sure his check comes do. He has to track down Alex and take him, not because he wants to or because he is evil but just because he this is what he does and he has to make sure the rules of the world our obeyed. Alex being alive causes all sorts of problems and he has to be taken care of.

Sean is determined not to let Alex die on his watch.

This is a problem for Death.

Death isn't a huge, big character. He does come in and out of the story but he is certainly more on the outskirts of the story.

As for Sean and Alex... Well, they have been best friends for as long as they can remember. They grew up three houses apart and for a long time they were the only two families on the entire street. So of course they bonded. Alex is the only person who has stuck with Sean all this time and Sean is very grateful to him for it. They're incredibly close and quite inseparable.

Brothers Quote

So ends Day Two!!!  I hope you all enjoyed it! NaNo Blog Party: Day the First

REMEMBER I SAID THERE WOULD BE A THING.WELL HERE IS THE THING. YOU WERE WARNED.

Hi guys! Today is Day One of the three-day NaNo-blog party. Today we are going to start with introducing your world. You start off with a plot and the main sketch of it all. Tell us the time-frame of your book, where it is set (a fantasy world, a fictional world, a separate planet, or an Alternate Universe.... whatever) what kind of creatures/people liver there and what inspired your world. You can pretty much embellish on this topic as much as you like; you can go into detail and share history and locations and exact dates and times - you can do as much or as little as you want! Just have fun. That is my only rule. Have fun.

Pinkie Pie

I've already told you my plot once, but I'll do it again just to cover all my base.

It is the year before WWII and Alex Gregory is a sixteen year old boy living in an America. On the sixth of November he has an accident and he was supposed to die in the hospital room. But he doesn't. He wakes up. And that is when everything changes. Soon Alex realizes just how serious his 'being alive' really is. He wasn't supposed to survive. Now the balance of the world has tipped and Death demands his life. Literally. Death is coming for him. And no one ever escapes Death, not really. It is a hunt. But as Alex runs from his nightmares and, with help from his friend Sean, tries to piece together the puzzle of his fate, the War that was once so far off starts it's break through the border. This is no ordinary War. Alex is about to find out that this War is not just between men. It is a War that stretches back into the dawn of time with beings far greater than humanity. And he is the only one who can stop it.

My story is set on Earth, but no Earth as we know  it. This is almost like a parallel Earth. Call it an AU Earth if you want. Everything on this earth is almost exactly like ours, except in this world Demigods are real. The War that is about to happen is based very roughly on the WWII of our world.

Okay, they aren't so much demigods but they are the next closest thing. My creatures are called The Thrones and they were created at the very beginning of the world shortly after the battle of Angels when the bad Angels fell. The Thrones were created in order to protect and guard the virtue in the world God was creating. They were each given power over virtue in the same way humans are given power over music, writing or dance. They were charged with guarding the virtue, especially the virtue in children. Some of the Thrones violated their powers. They were corrupted by the Devils and his followers. Their corruption poisoned the Virtues they were supposed to protect and created Vice. These Thrones became known as the Tempest. Every Throne has it's Tempest. Love has Hate. Peace has Rage, also known as War. Charity has Spite.

The Thrones and the Tempest only have power in so much as the humans yield it. This means that in times of war or revolution or great sin, the Tempest are more powerful than the Thrones.

The Thrones and the Tempest have their own Kingdom in much the same way Demigods would.

Basis of a Throne

Most humans don't know Thrones and Tempests exist. Most of the old stories about them have become just that; stories. They're legends and fairy tales. They're not real. There aren't many that even remember anything about them. But there are a few, a very, very few who still remember the ancient times and the history of those years. There are those who remember when The Thrones and Tempest taught together during the Fall of Rome. These men are called the Ancients .

Like in Greek mythology, every time the Tempests rise to power there has to be a hero, someone who stands out from all the rest, who defeat them and send them back where they belong. That is how it is has always been. So the Ancients starts a revolt, or a resistance against the upcoming war and several of them set out to find the one person who can be there hero against the Tempests.

That is how Alex figures into everything.

So that is my general set up for my story. I still have a LOT of world building to do and I'm still playing around with ideas, so this some of this could change as my story progresses.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?? DO YOU LIKE IT???

THIS MAKES ME SO NERVOUS YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW.

*Clears throat*

The song that inspired me to write this story .... well there were several, but I'll do the one that inspired me to write Alex and Sean.

When I first heard this song I fell in love with the lyrics and I got this idea for these best friends that went up against Death himself and somehow ended up winning. I love the refrain and I think it fits the essence of my story pretty well.

Tomorrow there is going to be a tag and an introduction of characters. Stay tuned! Peace out Y'all!!

Peasants + Flares

I am super proud of myself right now. I was behind 4,000 words in NaNo as of yesterday morning.

By yesterday night I had caught up to 13,740.

THIS IS A BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT OKAY???? A BIG BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT!

CHEER FOR ME PEASANTS!!!!!!!!!!!

On Friday the Amazing Sammie The Friend kidnapped me and kept me for a night at her house. I think she knows I'm a tad stressed. Heh. She wouldn't let me do anything. She basically ordered me to relax and not do anything and she wouldn't let me worry. She's good about that. It's why I love her. She's one of the few people who helps me not worry about the world and all it's cousins. She has a very blunt way of saying things so that you laugh at yourself and feel a lot better once you're done talking with her. We had  home made Mushroom pizza and watched Dean be a Dog and had tea and it was brilliant.

Best friends are brilliant.

After the weekend I woke up feeling better about the universe and the planet earth in general. I was able to do some more writing and practically gave myself a heart attack when I realized I'd caught up. Finally. I'm actually writing and blogging at the same time here. While listening to music. And giving my sister advice on how to set up our newest music video.

Skills. I has them.

Recently my sister let me listen to the song called Flares. It's by The Script.Yeah. I might love it a little bit. A lot. And I may or may not have cried during the refrain. It is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and the lyrics are amazing. I have christened it my song. I don't know. It just reminds me of ...everything. I feel like I can relate to it on a very deep level. (That sounded cheesy but oh well, my blog right?) I've been listening to it a ton since I started NaNo because it reminds me of my characters and it helps me write beautiful words. I just love it.

Did you see the flares in the Sky, were you Blinded by the Light
Did you feel the smoke in your eyes, did ya? Did ya?

I love every aspect of this song. I love how the piano comes in softly and brings the melody with it and how it supports the lyrics and gives you the feeling of standing on a road, looking up and seeing all this light and beauty and somehow finding hope, even when hope is scarce. I find it incredibly inspiring and it is the perfect lyric material for my story. It gets my creativity flowing.

My book. Ah yes. Okay guys. I'm planning a Nano blog party that will start on Nov. 12 and lasts through Nov. 14. (That's Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week.) I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in participating. You don't have to be actually doing Nano, just as long as you are working on a book this month you could qualify. Please comment and tell, because I would totally love a fabulous SHOW OFF YOUR BOOK thing. I'll probably do one anyway, just for me. But if there are any of you out there who would like to help or participate, just pop me a comment and we'll see what works best. The more the merrier!!

I MUST NEEDZ TO GO NOW!!!! NANO-ING TO DO! LIVES TO LEAVE! PLANETS TO CONQUER! CAT'S TO DROWN!! SWINGS TO SWING ON!!

This gif makes me happy. So I had to share it with the world and spread the love. Just ... eyebrows 8-)

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Right random. Want to try again? Sure.

Blog post take Two

FLASH-FLASH-FLASH

Basically life has been a pest this last week. Which is my excuse for my lack of not doing... anything. Yep. I've been lazy. *Plants hands on hips* I didn't feel like doing anything. I've hardly done any writing at all and the little I have done didn't extend to the blogosphere, for which I'm very sorry. I know how you all miss me. It's just... I can't get on the internet as much as I want to.

This is very sad for me.

But if it's any consolation you haven't missed out on anything. I didn't have much to blog about. Just a long line of boring and more boring. Remember? Life is a pest.

*blows out cheeks*

This is stupid.

I am almost done with Broken Trust and am trying with crazed eyes to finish before NaNo starts but I just don't think that's going to happen. I think I'm burnt out. I know what I want. I know exactly what I need to write. I have all the scenes and the whole finale. But I open up my document and just

Nothing.

I actually cried the other night because I couldn't write. And then I slammed my computer shut and acted instead and I felt much better. Why can I act the scenes but I can't write them? It's incredibly frustrating. Writers block means I start haunting pinterest. Did you know this pin existed?

PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN

PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN

Okay so yeah. Obviously this post isn't going anywhere. But at least I came right? RIGHT? Right.

I do have a few things that are sort of normal to share. One, my sisters have finally deigned to show me the fabulous Grimm.

It is fabulous.

FRIENDSHIPS AND FAIRYTALES AND GUN FIGHTS AND EVIL BADDIES WHOM I HATE AND CUTE GIRLS (GIRLS WHO ARE ACTUALLY CUTE AND SMART) AND COOL NICK WHO IS A CHUCK. NORRIS.

I love it. I am obsessed, officially obsessed. Sadly le Grimm belongs to a sister who doesn't bring it over as much as I'd want. So it's almost like watching it on air, except we get to watch more than one when we watch it.

Speaking of things on air S10 of Supernatural is stressing me out. A bit of advice for anyone listen? Never, ever under any circumstances come near this stupid show. Ever. It isn't worth it.

Trust me.

I need to watch SHIELD. and more Arrow. And the new Season of Doctor Who. and The Flash.

See this is another reason to like fall. All the TV shows come off hiatus. Well except Merlin.

(Sherlock doesn't count, Sherlock is never off hiatus.)

Hehe. I think it's time for me to say goodbye. Things to do and all that. I'll post the first day of NaNo and tell you all about my story. Are any of you doing NaNo? Should we do some kind of mid-NaNo blog party? what do you think??

DONE!

I FINISHED MY BOOK YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

source

I don't know what my emotions are doing. I'm excited and nervous and happy and sad and proud and sick all at the same time. My writing buddy insisted this was a normal post-finishing-a-book feeling, but all the same, my feelings are going nuts one minute I'm all...
source
and the next I'm like....

Basically I feel like Shawn....

NAILED IT!!!!!!

well....

ALMOST NAILED IT!!!!!

at the very least,

DEFINITELY DIDN'T BLOW IT!!!!

I don't think.....!

My total word count as of right now is 59,031 words. I know there are a few bits that I can fill out and polish a bit more, so the finished product will probably end up having more, but for the moment my first completed rough draft is at 59,000 words and it actually has an ending. Which has never happened, ever. So I am pretty happy.

I want to say thank you to all of you lovely followers who have put up with all my short and boring posts lately. I know it hasn't been easy, and I hope I can start blogging for real again some time next week. But I'm taking a little time off the computer, so... yeah.  I think I'm entitled to it. *Grin*

I want to say a special thank you to the girl who made all of this possible. I want to thank her because she never stopped poking me and pushing me until I wrote the last sentence of my book. I know the story is far from actually done. I know I will have to go back and polish and tweek, and I know I will have to work on character development. But knowing I actually sat down and wrote a book from BEGINNING TO END (if not quite in that order) is something I can hardly believe. And I could never have done it without her. So I want to thank that special buddy, and I hope she knows how wonderful she has been and how much I appreciate her support and advice and constant cheering across chat. She's been a big help and knowing she likes what I've done is very encouraging.

YOU ARE AWESOME BUDDY JIM!

I'm going to the beach tonight and I have some stuff to get done before I do, which means I'm leaving now. I just HAD to share my news with you because... this is one of the most exciting and terrifying things I've ever done. I can't believe I did this, and I think, in time, I will have a pretty good story to print and bind. I know it needs fixing, but I think in the end it will be good.

PEACE OUT Y'ALL!

I haven't given up and that is all that matters

Update of the day?

I am still writing!

I know right?? Go me!!

source
Well actually that is a pretty big thing. Me writing I mean. I almost gave up last week. Its been hard to write lately because I am trying to finish school so I haven't been doing as much writing as I could be and I depressed myself because I realized I have only written like, 2000 words in the past three days. I'm also coming up on a hard part in my story and I'm afraid because I have to start plotting part two and part two is going to be sad, and overall I'm just not doing so well right now. BUT I'M NOT GIVING UP!!!!! I am a warrior!!!!! I can't give up now! Not when I have a buddy who pokes me to make sure I don't lose steam.

She is a very good buddy.

My Motto.

Anyway, as far as my story is going I think I'm doing pretty well. I mean, considering. The plot escalated so quickly I almost couldn't keep up with it and now it is so dark and awful and I realized I needed to do things I didn't want to do. I have to hurt characters and create pain and I just... I just didn't want to write. Because I know the more I wrote the closer I'd be to all that bad stuff and I didn't want to have to write it. Cause I know it will hurt.

Today I worked on the end of my story. I have three other bits I need to write in, all of which I am having trouble with. I need to write an escape, a betrayal and another bit that I can't actually talk about but lets just say it is hard to do. Suffice to say I was too upset to write those and decided to finish up my ending instead. This was a big step because I've been postponing that last scene for a while and I knew it was 'Now or never.'  So I wrote it. I have my last scene done now, and it was really, really hard to write and I was so distraught I had to make something to cheer myself up. Here you are. A snippet, a sneak peak. Something like that. I don't even know what to call it.

you're welcome.

You are free to guess who that is, who that particular quote belongs to.

I want to try and audition for a "My Fair Lady" play but I am very nervous and I'll need to eat lots of ice cream and think it over before deciding. I'm also going to start looking into getting an agent. To help with my acting. Until then I need to see if there is a way I can start making some money. This job thing I have, I dunno if its gonna work out. It doesn't look very good right now.

I am want a new blog look. I've wanted one since, like, January. I feel like my blog is really crowded. And green. And I'm just done with it. Maybe I'll play around with blogger when I have time. See if I can tweak a few things. Make it look nice again. Clean it up a little.

Okay I'm ready for Summer now. I want my sun, I want my seventy-degree weather and I want to sit on the deck and have the wind be chilly and drive me inside cause I don't want to wear a sweater. In JUNE. The magic of living on the mountains guys.

We watched The Winter Soldier again on Sunday. We went down to the at the dollar theatre after Mass and made an event of it, getting coffee and banana bread and preparing for the emotional trauma we were about to suffer. Again. Tell you what, it was worse the second time. I really need a third one. and the next Avenger movie. 2016 is so far away!

God Bless and have a lovely night! Peace out y'all!

"You are such a girls petticoat!"

source

I really want this hoodie. I could hang it up next to my Sam one and admire them at night when I can't sleep. maybe I'll even start a hoodie collections inspired by fandoms. That could be cool. A hoodie for every day of the week. Bucky's hoodie could be any day though, cause I don't know if I could ever not where it when I had the chance. I'd have to do Sam's one day and Bucky's the next. Seriously though. Can't you see me in Disneyland soldiering through the streets wearing this, flipping my knife all epic like? Oh wait. It will be too warm. How about in the winter then? on my home street? I could toss my hair and spin my metal arm and maybe I'd where black war paint and saunter around reenacting the "Bucky?" scene. And jumping on cars and doing a running flip, which I will undoubtedly master. I've already been practicing my knife flip. I've gotten so I can toss it and catch it and it doesn't fall. And now I really want to reenact the scene with that flip.  Except I need a Steve. That's okay. I think I can find a buddy willing to be my Steve.

See, this is what happens when I do NaNo for too long.  I go a little CRAZY!!!!!! *loud cackle*

Seriously now.  *cough* NaNo has been good for me. I've more than doubled my book since the beginning of the month and that makes me happy. Really happy. I am only like, 7,000 words from 50,000. I'm making it guys!!!! Unfortunately I'm not sharing any more snippets right now. I don't want to give too much away and I can't find a snippet right now that isn't spoilerific. I know there is one somewhere but I am too tired to go searching through my book and find it. I don't even feel like writing tonight. Can fictional trauma kill you? And if you can, how would you explain that one?
"Oh she died writing a book she was way to emotionally involved in."

DUMB WAYS TO DIE!!
SO MANY DUMB WAYS TO DIE!!!
DUMB WAYS TO DIE-IE-IEEEE!!
SO MANY DUMB WAY TO DIE!!

I am so tired guys.

I have to go.

I have to sleep.

SLEEEEEEEEEEEP!

In case you haven't noticed I have been having a few late nights. Maybe more than. I've been really restless and my little sisters have been having nightmares which kind of keep me awake. And  then my characters wont leave me alone and the next day I am so tired I can't write. And they get mad at me for not doing my job and hit me and I'm just like....

I'm leaving.

I'm going.

Pray for me I work tomorrow!!!

I've been bit on my finger! It could've been my leg! It could've been my head, I might've died!

I have a job.

I have a job.

I HAVE A JOB!!

I did a follow-up interview at that sandwich place and SHE HIRED ME!!!! I come in on Tuesday at 11:15. She's going to start training me. Guys this is for real. Like, real. I have a real life, normal job.

I don't know what my emotions are doing. They've been going up and down like crazy ever since I got home. One minute I'm like.....

The next minute I'm like.

I was so freaked out you guys!!! I still am, a bit. I mean, that interview... Oh my gosh. I had this sick feeling in my stomach the whole time I was doing it. I mean, don't get me wrong. The lady was very nice and when it was finished she told me I had done well and she'd like to have me. Which was, ya' know, nice. But it still freaked me out. And once I got in the car I noticed my hands were shaking and I couldn't make them stop.

The job is part time and that is good. that leaves time for school and NaNo (Am I crazy? Yes. I am a little crazy.) AND ABOUT NANO!!!!!! The worst thing happened to me last night. I think I am going to have to do something awful in part two. Something really, really awful.  And I am upset cause I love Dimitri. *Hides behind Pillow* Don't throw shoes at me! I am trying to help him! I am! But I don't think I can. That makes me depressed. I sulked and couldn't write. Instead I sat around thinking up more Bucky pain to help cope with the writing hurt.

I THOUGHT UP BUCKY PAIN TO HELP WITH WRITING HURT.

I am so messed up.

Speaking of Bucky pain!!!! I have a started another blog with a good buddy of mine. It was sort of spur-of-the-moment and we are still not sure what it's going to be like, but run over and check it out HERE. It should be pretty fun once we  actually get a feel for it.

That's all I have. Bonus points to anyone who can tell me what my title quote is from!!! Peace out and may the Fourth be with you. *Slides off Car*

"I looked into the TARDIS. And the TARDIS looked into me."

FELLOW WHOVIANS!!!!!!!!! Today is Bad Wolf Day!!!! This is a thing! Seriously. Spread the word.

Now on to the snippet. I was wondering what I should post today, then I realized I haven't introduced you to Dimitri or Nightly yet, so here is one of their first scenes in the book. Be kind, its rusty.

The sky opened up and let loose its waters. Nightly scowled and pulled the hood of his cloak tightly over his head. The cloak was rather too big for him because it had belonged to Dealm, and it sagged around his shoulders and trailed in the dirt. He'd been tempted to rip it off more than once during the journey but the cold and wet had kept it on. Now he was glad he had left it on. Their walking slowed and became even more labored. The rain was turning the dirt and grime to mud and the mud grip the feet of the travelers and stuck to their boots. Everything was bleak and wet and horrible. Nightly hated it. He couldn't believe how far he and Dimitri had been forced to fall. To go up against their own kingdom. To be on the run as traitors and fugitives. To have lost a friend.... and not just to betrayal. He gritted his teeth hard and stopped his thoughts before they could drift again toward Dealm. He didn't want to remember. He wished he could forget that whole night. He wished he could wipe it away. He wondered if Dimitri felt the same way.

Dimitri didn't. He didn't feel regret or even grief. All he felt was rage. Cold rage that ran through his veins and banged in his head every time he thought of Liam. Liam. He thought he might hate Liam. Liam and his secrets. Liam and his lies. Liam and his treachery which he never saw coming until the sword struck his arm and made him fall. Liam had smiled then. His face had broke into a wide, twisted smile and he had tapped Dimitri lightly on the head with the flat of his sword. "Dimitri, Dimitri. Did you honestly think -"

Dimitri shut Liam's voice out of his head viciously. He did hate Liam. He did. Why shouldn't he? Why should he care anymore? He didn't! Sluck went the mud. Sluck. Sluck. Sluck. Slim. Slim. Sliam. Sliam. Liam. Liam. Liam. Dimitri stopped and glowered at the mud. It must have thought it was pretty clever, mocking him like this! Well it could think whatever it wanted. What did mud know anyway?

"Dimitri?" Nightly watched his brother anxiously. "Are you alright?"

Dimitri started walking again. "I'm fine. Stop asking me if I'm Alright! I'm alright!"

Nightly fixed his eyes on the ground and kept walking. He knew Dimitri was upset and lashing out, but he wished he would just let himself snap. Nightly wanted him to shout. To vent. His silence frightened him because it meant he hadn't dealt with the situation and was still just going with anger. And he could only hold that in for so long. Nightly wished Dimitri would talk. He wished Dimitri would let him talk. He wanted to vent. He wanted to scream and sob and curse. But instead he plodded in silence trying hard not to shout at the hard silent back in front of him. He knew there were some things can't be spoken of in words. Maybe Liam's betrayal was one of them.

*Nervously Chews Nails* Does it suck? I think it needs a good polish, but maybe I've been editing too long. On the subject of editing, I am going to continue Camp NaNo in June. And I'm going to try and finish part one of this stupid book so I can work on part two and cry. Tyson hurts guys. Tyson wasn't suppose to hurt. Last night  when I tried to write, I found a song that describes him pretty well. Some of the lyrics are weird but most of them fit almost perfectly. TYSON!!!! *sob*

And I am done with my graceless heart
So tonight I'm gonna cut it out and then restart
'Cause I like to keep my issues drawn
It's always darkest before the dawn

At the end of part one this is 100% Tyson. Just so you know. And I'm pretty sure now that he and Peregrine are going to be the big storyline in part two. I have to finish part one first though. *headdesk* Part one keeps needing more stuff added to it to make it work. That's okay though, right? Having to add stuff is fine. I can add. And I can fix that out-of-character crap. Right?? Sure. I can do that.

Just one more thing. I am hoping to do a follow-up interview for that Job today. I want this job. I'd really, really like to have this job. Please pray I get it. I would so grateful.
