In which I want to post but I have no idea what to post about.

Yo people of the internet!

Guess what today was!

Well yes, it was the first day of Spring. It was also the day Catholics celebrate the feast of St. Joseph, Foster Father of Jesus Christ. (His feast day was yesterday but because he's such a big Saint, if it falls on a Sunday the Church gives it it's own day of celebration.) This means we got to have a little relief from the Lenten penitence. For me and my sisters this involved the skipping of a meal so we could partake of tea-cakes and coffee at eight thirty at night.

We DeLallo's sure get crazy with our feasting. Lol. We all worked late so that was about as much as we could manage.

I've no idea what to post about guys. I am sooooo tired. I was on a energy high last night and didn't get to sleep 'till some creeping hour after midnight. I got a little writing done though, and that was excellent! Life goals and all that. I had so many goals this year. *siiiiiiigh* My goals are not working out. Granted, it's only March but as far as 2017 goes I've gotten off to a rough start, creative-wise. It's especially annoying when I actually try to be creative and my creative juices won't flow. I think some of it has to do with how sick I've been these past few months, and not sleeping well. No rest means no creativity. Unless it's 3:00 AM. Then your mind wakes up sure and steady!

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but do you ever get super excited about a certain story and you can see the whole finished product in your head like a beautiful masterpiece, but when you start work on it you think that maybe you can't actually write this beautiful story?

That is what's been happening to me. 8-P

JUST GET IT DONE BELLA.

What I want to do is take a long walk with my notebook. I want to sit in nature until my mind remembers to what creative is. Maybe I'll do that this weekend. It's been too long since I've climbed a tree. Now that Spring is here I'm feeling much more friendly toward the wilderness. I'm more of an outdoor person in the warm months than in the cold. Call me whimpy if you want. There isn't a lot to do in the snow. Once Spring sets in I'm like "YAAAAAAS. TREES! ROOFS! LIGHT! SUN! LIFE!"

I want to go swimming, but it's not quite that warm out yet. Sadly. 8-( I think swimming would help my back. It's been acting up lately.

With that random bit of information out of the way, here is a Japanese* song I've been obsessed with these past few months. I'm trying to learn it for singing class. Unfortunately the only copy you can find on Youtube that isn't pitched is the one performed live. The guy who sings it is a bit weird so feel free to ignore him. Don't judge until you read the lyrics. They're sad. 8-(

*Yes I said Japanese. It's was one of the opening songs in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and I love it.

READ LYRICS HERE:

My favorite line is in the fifth verse:

You, who gave me a new start by your consolations,   and the hateful and cowardly me.
It’s about time… Fumbling, my troubles spill down my tired cheeks

There is something beautifully sad about that line. It reminds me of a person who has tried his/her absolute hardest and had it all backfire on them. It also reminds me of that feeling you get when you've succeeded but at a heavy price. Like Frodo at the top of Mount Doom, knowing the Ring is destroyed but he will never be the same. It make me more determined then ever to write good characters who face intense moral dilemma's and painful sacrifices, but they still do what's right. However scared and weak they feel, they do the better thing. The noble, hard thing. Being a good person doesn't make your decisions any easier. Usually it makes them harder. I want readers like me to have more characters to relate to. Not just morally grey people who sometimes do the right thing, but actually good people sticking to their values, however hard. Contrary to popular belief, Good doesn't mean Flat. It's much harder to be Good than Grey.

Sometimes Japanese lyrics are deep and they help me write. I need to draw inspiration from wherever I can get it. I don't even care if it's weird. This song is beautiful.

Ooooh. Now I have an idea about a song review. Or analogy. Or talk? Something like that. A "Lyrics in relation to the writing/inspiration" thing. That's sounds interesting.

On that note, I'm off. It's almost eleven here and I have to get to bed.

I have come back ... TO LIFE!

OH HEEEEEEY!

Literally the last three weeks: Life: - You want to blog? You want to write? You want to be creative? HAHA! TOO BAD! YOU'RE TOO BUSY CHASING YOURSELF TO DO ANY OF THAT!!!!

For real though.

I wanted to be a better blogger this year but these few months have been a whirlwind of craziness and I am not holding up on that effort too well. It's like the fates are against me or something. I just can't catch an easy week! Lol. The start of this year has been rocky to say the least. To say the most....

*thrashes like a slimy squid in a hot soda pop*

Yep. This has been my 2017 thus far.

2017. 2017. 2017.

I had such hopes for you. How could you betray my tiny trust?

But hey! I'm blogging now.

Despicable Me

I was supposed to be doing a Musical Link-Up but do to lovely life craziness I totally missed the whole thing. This is a little sad for me, but I am sure I'll have other chances to vent about my musicals. For now; Life Update!

1.) I am almost done with both my Piano class and my Acting class. Piano has been fun, but it's more of a crash course than anything else because we had so many snow days we had to play catch up. Even so, the teacher is great and the class has been interesting. I'd like to take it again, when I'm not so sick.

The acting class has been much more fun than I thought it would be. I hadn't done much Improv before so it was fun to get my feet wet in something I was unfamiliar with. With Improv you get to play a lot more. I can definitely see the appeal of creating characters from scratch and having almost boundless options with your character, your scene, and your whole story. It's great fun. I like scripts a little better, but Improv has it's perks. I can see myself taking it again.

2.) My clarinet was finally found at my brother's house and brought back to me. This is super exciting for me. I am totally out of shape with mouth position and playing for any length of time, but wow! It's great to have my instrument back! I plan to start playing around with melodies again, try to give some of my musical numbers more than just acapella. That should be interesting! Actually, that's why I'm taking piano. I plan to keep practicing even after my class is over. Piano helps with musicals so much! 8-) Also, Base Cleff is trippy guys. Trippy. All those low notes and high notes look the same!

As an aside I don't like being a beginner. I want to immediately know all the things and make beautiful music without doing the months of practice. Is that too much to ask? I'm impatient, guys!

3.) I officially had the worst Fat Tuesday in Fat Tuesday history. LOL. For real. My family (and myself) were so busy running around meeting each other leaving that we didn't have much time to celebrate. But we did get nice ice-cream so that was great.

4.) I got headbands from Treskie and I look freaking adorable in headbands. Just sayin'.

5.) I finished the series Pandora Hearts last month. It was absolutely brilliant. The best story I've read in a long, long time. The character development was excellent, the story was superb, the plot was layered and complex (if that's a strong enough word...) and the whole emotional pay off was excellent. I loved it. I loved it so freaking much.

Xerxes Break

YAAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!

I might do a blog post about Fantasy Manga/Anime in the future. Why? Because there are lots of suffering bookworms out there who can't find anything original when it comes to the fantasy genre, (and books in general) but I've found a number of good manga/anime that have captured my attention. Manga can be really beautiful. It's true. The ones I've read have been so good* that I might even see if some Japanese fantasy books are good too.

*I know there are bad ones too. Of course there are. There are good and bad manga, good and bad anime, good and bad books. That how the world goes.

6.) My Mom and some of my sisters have gone off on a nice long vacation at my brother-in-law's house. Mom is going to help with Laura's new baby, and since she only lives a couple hours from my other sister Gina, they're all just going to hang out their for some weeks. I'm happy they get to have a vacation - they haven't had a proper one in ages - but it was sad for me to stay behind. This is why I hates jobs. 8-(

7.) In the past three to six months anime/manga have hit me with so many emotions I'm slightly ashamed. Though not ashamed enough to stop. ANIME! MANGA! GOOD STORIES! AAAAAAAAAH! I will say that when Hunter x Hunter makes you want to cry you know things are getting crazy. What was that season five arc? WHAT WAS IT?

My relationship with Anime.

8.) I want to go hiking in the snow. Then I don't. Then I do. Someone should force me to go with them. *Squints at Jim* Why am I hesitant? 'Cause I know myself, that's why. A hike in the snow sounds like an adventure, but knowing me.....

Maybe I'll try out reality when I'm well. I'll have to get proper snow boots and a coat. I should also bring hot cocoas.

See??? NOW I WANNA GO AGAIN.

8.) I want to hang the Catholic Flag outside my house. Just cause.

Look how pretty it is! How cool would it be to have that flying outside your window? It would make you feel like you had your King's banner hanging above your Knightly headquarters. And let's face it. That's basically what it is!

9.) I'm going to make something DELICIOUS for desert this Sunday, because why the heck not? It's Sunday. I freaking can.

10.) I want to buy a nice dress for Easter this year. Wish me luck with that!

I am all out of things to say. I'm going to try and go back to posting regularly! I want my blog to be centered around light and happiness so I'm trying to figure out exactly how to do that. Maybe I should just do more "happy thoughts" posts. Maybe I'll even make a Happy Thoughts Day. (Every Saturday???)

I don't know. If you have feedback I'd be glad to hear it.

Peace out y'all!

Bai Bai!

We did a thing and it was fun.

I've realized something about my new home. I've realized that if you live fourty-five minutes away from the nearest snow-covered peak, you are stuck with lots of buildings and no snow.

This is distressing to me because where my folks live, they are finally getting dumped with snow after several years of dry, depressing winters. My sisters are making snowmen men and snow-angels and running around in deep snow-drifts and I'm stuck here. In the city. With no snow.

I miss snow guys. Never thought I'd say it. But I do.

But....snow.

That's why it was so exciting to wake up yesterday morning and see that the world outside had been covered in white!

There were real, honest, fluffy white flakes of frozen, frost-covered rain drops falling from the sky! It was so exciting! Gooooodbye green grass! *dances everywhere.*

Mai two little nieces, Chloe and Sammi, they really wanted to go out and play. Unfortunately, I have no snow-clothes. I have this fuzzy brown jacket that looks like a feminine version of Ten's trench coat, but that is as close to a coat as I have. My only boots are dress boots, so not good for snow. But Chloe and Toink wanted to go so badly I couldn't disappoint them. I'm too much of a softy I guess. I told them to get on their snow stuff, I put on some gloves and a scarf for extra warmth, I pulled my FemTen jacket on, and outside we went!

The whole world looks nicer when there is snow everywhere. I don't know why, but I feel safer when there is snow all around me.

We didn't do anything normal of course, like make a snowman. Mai little nieces wanted to go to the park. It was snowing and it was cold, but they really wanted to go to the park. It was a *thing.* And when they look at you with those big eyes full of hope, how can you say no? So we walked down the street in the cold and the wind and the snow, and we went to the park and we played on the slippery, wet, cold slides, and we had a grand ol' time. It was fabulous.

IS THAT SNOW RIGHT THERE? IS THAT SNOW ON THE PARK RIGHT THERE?

Such fun. Wow Snow.

Yay slides!!! Fun! (I slid down a snow-covered slide guys! It was like a canon of cotton. It just spat me out - woooooooooooosh!) And look! My bangs are everywhere!here!

*Why is my jaw go crooked when I laugh?? It's weird!

We're cold. It's cold. This is fun.

Because nothing says snow day like a slippery slide.

We found a teeter-totter. I played on this too. I just didn't take any selfies. Selfies on a teeter totter seemed like a bad idea.

When we finally headed home our hands were numb and our feet were freezing. We practically ran back to the house, and as soon as we were inside I put water on to boil. The three of us had tea and watched My Little Pony and let our poor, wet bodies thaw. It was nice. (I am almost positive I am the only aunt who has tea time with an eight and a five year old. And they actually like it!)

There you go. My own winter-wonderland adventure. That's all I got, but I hope it was fun. I'm gonna introduce some book characters soon. Stay tuned!

PEACE OUT Y'ALL!!

A (Big?) Number Of Things You Might Not Know About Me:

This should be interesting!

1.) When I was two years old I was spinning around the living room. (I actually do remember this a little bit, as odd as that may seem.) I'm pretty sure I was pretending to be a fairy or something very close to that, and I was so caught up in my magic sparkles that I didn't see the coffee table until it was too late. I ran right into it and smashed my front tooth to smithereens. Seriously. It wasn't knocked out or anything normal. I rammed my face so hard against the glass that the pure pressure shattered my tooth and pushed the fragments into my gums. The Doctor said the tooth should come back within a couple years. But little old me was without a front tooth until I was about ten. When it finally started to come back it was a super weird experience. It was like losing a tooth, but in reverse. I have the tooth now (which is great) but it grew in crooked, and it will always be crooked. There is something wrong with my jaw or the bones or something, and my teeth cannot be set. Oh well. I don't mind it.

I was so cute.

2.) When I was a kid my favorite part from Sleeping Beauty was when Maleficent crashed down in front of Phillip and cried; "NOW SHALL YOU DEAL WITH ME, O PRINCE! AND ALL THE POWERS OF HELL!" I used to quote that line quite often, complete with dramatic arm-raise. Why did I like this so much? I'm not sure. I think it was the epicness of the villain threatening about Hell and then turning into a terrifying DRAGON and then Philip defeating her with the Shield of Virtue and the Sword of Truth - yeah, I really love Philip. That whole scene was so cool though! I just loved it so much! It was my favoritest of lines. Once I even did the thing in the library, and one of the librarians was like, "You told her about Hell???"

"No! It cannot be!"

3.) I have am severely conflicted about which side to join for Captain America - Civil War, because I feel like by choosing one  I basically tell the other he is a zero and I don't really care about him.

NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, WHY CAN'T WE ALL BE FRIENDS AND HAVE SHWARMA?

3.) I used to climb up on the shed roof in the back yard and fish for pine cones with my younger sisters. The shed was about a story high, but that didn't shake us. we put hangers on a long line of jump-rope and we just sat up there on the roof, trying to snag pine cones in the hanger hooks. It was intense.

4.) I wore jumpers growing up.

5.) I didn't play "Red Rover." I played, "BLOOD ROVER." Seriously. When my sisters and I played that game we didn't mess around. You locked hands up to the wrists. You planted yourself. You kept the enemy from crossing, if your arms broke doing it. One time we had friends over and they weren't used to our ways... and I could feel her hand sliding, and I just dug my nails into her skin like, "Don't let go."

6.) Peter & Edmund were the first brother story I ever cried over. *not counting Bro-Friends.

When are you going to learn to do as your told?

7.) I used to stand in the rays of sunlight that came through the living room window and pretend to be Mary, or an angel from heaven.

*cue heavenly voices singing*

8.) When I was super little I'd play this stupid game with my sister. We had a pitcher in the bathtub and I'd fill it up, and I'd slowly poor it out saying, "The mirror shows many things. Things that were. Things that are. And some thing that have not yet come to pass. Look into the mirror." I had the time the pouring perfect, otherwise I ran out to fast and had to quickly dunk the pitcher back into the water before I finished, or I was too slow had to dump the last of the water out with a splash. Once I finished, I'd pass it to Tiny and she'd do the same thing. And we'd do this the whole time we were in the bath. I don't know how we knew this quote at five and three... but we did. #TrueLordoftheringsfans

9.) I read so much in middle school that my mom threatened to take away my library card because I wasn't getting my chores (or my school) done.

10.) Once I put on headphones, turned on some loud, exciting music and went tearing through a giant rain puddle in the road, dancing and whooping like an idiot. My age at this time is confidential.

11.) I believed in Santa Clause until like, two years ago, and I still believe in Father Christmas.  I come from a long line of believers.

12.) I used to take my Dad's stud-finder out of his tool kit and wander around the house pretending to be Kirk, looking for signs of life (or danger) on some distant planet.

Their cute old/new technology 8-)

13.) I loved capes but I never owned one. I went on a lot of adventures. Adventurers had to have capes. This was a thing with me. So I would raid my big sister's closet and find a long flowing skirt to stick on my shoulders and run around in.

14.) Sometimes I would pick out a black skirt for my cape, grab Christine (an unfortunate younger sister) and drag her down through my lair, (the deck and the swing set) singing the Phantom of the Opera in a deep, masculine voice. She always knew the responses. And she put up with being dragged all over the back yard, singing and boating across giant lakes. She was a very good sport. *waves at sister* You know who you are.

15.) OH, OH, OH! I just got an instagram. You should check it out HERE.

16.) I have tea time every night, and when I'm with my family we have it together. We're all very British that way.

18.) I don't think Loki is a hero. I like him, but he's not a hero.

19.) I never finished the Harry Potter books.* What can I say? I thought the movies were better!

All the Potterheads be like....

*I know, I know. I want to try again somewhere in the soon-ish future.

20.) I read The Hobbit when I was 10 and The Lord of the Rings when twelve. I cried over both.

"I will not say 'do not weep,' for not all tears are an evil."

21.) I fangirl over Original Star Trek.

22.) I always wear a Scapular. *

Our Lady's promise.

*A scapular is like kind of a necklace that is worn in honour of the Mother of Christ. The Catholic's have a tradition of wearing them, as it shows our devotion to the Church, and merits for us special prayers and protection from the Mother of God.

23.) I never, ever wanted to be an only child. Like, ever.

24.) I always go barefoot in the summer time, for as long as I can.

25.) I sing practically all the time. Wherever, whenever, whatever time of day. I'll be there in the corner, singing like a lark. Or a chickadee. Or a toad, depending on your opinions and the state of my health at the time. (But I kind of like my voice, so if you hate it, that's too bad for you. *sticks out tongue*)

There! Twenty-Five things you might not know about me! I think I will be off now. I will leave with this song that I recently discovered. I really, really like it. You've probably all heard it before, but whatever. It's one of my many anthems. It makes me feel ready to be brave.

God Bless! Peace out y'all!!

Nobody has time for that!

I wanted to use the other phrase, but it's protected by copyright.

The reason for needing this phrase is this; I have bronchitis. For real. Bronchitis. My brother took me into a Doctor on Wednesday because this stupid cold would not let me go. (In fact it was just getting worse). It was like YOU SHALL NOT PASS. THIS IS THE BRIDGE OF HEALTH. YOU SHALL NOT PASS.

I admit it. I just really wanted a Gandalf gif on this post.

I was like, "But I really want to be well!"

So I finally went to the Doctor and got a medicine that would actually help me, and today I feel much better. Not well, but definitely better.

Yay health!

Right now I am blogging on a brand new computer that my brother bough me for my big First-Time-Adult birthday. (Reason #209 why my brother is better than yours.)

That's right folks. January 12th was my eighteenth Birthday! I am now officially an adult. I think I kind of hate that. It could hold good things, but on the other hand it's a little terrifying. Okay, a lot terrifying. However, I still don't really act like an adult, meaning I'm not all professional and socially brilliant, or really serious and stuff. I'm still a dork, and I still like being a dork, and I don't intend to give it up. So there. I think I'm going to be a dork my whole life. I can see myself becoming one of those crazy old ladies who has a terrible memory and hits people with her Gandalf staff that doubles as an Umbrella.

I have no idea where that paragraph was going....

ANYWAY!

I wasn't able to do much celebrating on my birthday, unfortunately. I was so sick I couldn't do a lot fun stuff. I spent a lot of the morning feeling dizzy and exhausted, and rather too weak to move. I've felt this way for the past week, but I found it horribly unfair that I should still be this sick on my eighteenth birthday, one of the biggest birthdays a teen can have. I had plans for that day, guys. I did none of them. However, my Mommy and three younger sister came up to celebrate it with me. They arrived later in the evening, but it was still nice to see them. Tiny tried to make it fun for me. She made me a cake and turned on some Taylor Swift and we tried to be a little festive. By around seven, I wasn't feeling as bad, and I was able to sit down and eat with everybody, (which was great). Then Mommy demanded I open gifts. She, Dad and Tiny had picked out this fabulous dark black sweater that feels soft and feathery when you wear it. I don't have any nice sweaters, especially not soft feathery ones, so I fell in love with it. Jessie got me this amazing coat that looks like a feminine version of the Tenth Doctor's Trench-coat. I love that coat. It is so fabulous! Then, as you know, Joey got me an epic new computer because, in his words; "You have an E-Machine from like, 2003!"

My brother is so fabulous.

When I am feeling better, I will try to take pictures and post them for you. Right now I look like a zombie. You wouldn't want to see my shiny, white face. Or my terrifying chapped lips. Or my eyes, which are wreathed in flame.

This is accurate guys.

Well, fairly accurate.

After this gifts I watched Princess Bride, ate delicious, moist cake and it turned into a fun evening. The Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies. It is so funny and ridiculous, and it never really bothers to explain itself much, but that is all part of it's charm. The fight scene between Inigo Montoya and Wesley is gold. And Inigo would have won if he hadn't panicked and started to swing wildly. I'm just saying.

Once the movie was over, we stayed up for a while and chatted about this and that, and my family stayed the night. That was very exciting :)

We went out shopping the next morning. We visited hobby lobby, and that place is so EPIC. WHAT EVEN! Tiny had so much fun she asked Mom if she could stay until Friday, and my Mom, (who is an amazing women) said yes!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

I kind of decided that I was going to celebrate my birthday all week because I was so sick on the actual day. This ended up being a good thing, because two of my friends want to drive up and visit me Today (I SO EXCITED! :-D) And they plan to bring me and Chloe and Sammi back with them to stay the night at my family's house so they can celebrate too! I'm so popular! All legally adult and stuff.

My friends should actually be arriving soon, so I should go now. I hope you all have a lovely weekend, and hopefully I'll be back with a post soon. Hopefully this one wasn't super boring.

Peace Out Y'all!!

Help me, you presumptuous climber! Nyaw, nyaw!"

Barry Allen.

Mine was page one of something different, kind of frightening, and also a little exciting..

Today I finally moved out.

It was a strange feeling. I didn't feel like it was really happening until I got into my brother's car and drove away. That when it sunk in that I would no longer being staying in my little green house for the majority of the time, but with my brother and his girls and... it was really weird.

I hugged all my sisters goodbye like, three times. They acted like I was going to the moon, and when I started to pull out of the driveway, a tiny part of me felt like that was exactly where I was going. In reality I am only an hour away, but it seems longer somehow, when I am in my brothers' house, listening to the silence and blogging.

I thought I would be a lot more scared. I'm a little scared, a little nervous, but I think that is normal when you leave your home for the first time. Mostly I'm pretty okay with it - even a little excited.I know I will need time to adjust, but I don't think that will be as hard as I originally thought. I feel like this is page one of an interesting 2016, and I hope the others pages will be as nice as this one.

My family tried to make my "Going-Away" as nice as possible. They even had Epiphany in the wee hours of the morning so that I could join in, even though we usually do that in the evening. I had a lovely Epiphany. We all woke up about six o'clock in the morning, and watched the tree blink for a bit, and soon Sausage-buns were being handed out, and coffee was served, and the Epiphany gifts were passed around. I got this epic light that looks like a candle holder and has butterflies and flowers all over it. Some of them come out a little, like they're 3D. It has a little tray on that top that you can put wax it. The light underneath burns the wax, and it smells amazing. Or at least, I expect that it would. Unfortunately I left my wax at home this morning. My sister said she'd take care of it for me, and bring it up on my birthday... But it seems so long.

I still love the light though. It is fun. (I'd show you a picture, but I don't have any right now. *sad face* )

It was pretty cool. There is this little girl who comes over to play all the time. Her name is Lisbeth. (well... sort of.) Anyway, we asked her if she could come over on Epiphany at the beginning of December. She seemed thrilled about it, and promised to ask her parents. We planned to have her stay all month, and at the last minute her mom said no, she couldn't stay. But see, Lisbeth didn't have much of a Christmas, so we had to have her for Epiphany! So later that night, Lisbeth showed up with her Grandpa and my mom, who is brilliant, went over to Lisbeth's house and talked to her Mom. And her Mom let her come! Lisbeth was so happy!!! It was fun, because in the morning she had gifts under the tree, both from the Wisemen, and Father Christmas! She was so excited. It was adorable.

We have a habit and turning friends into family members. I guess we are a lot like that family in While You Were Sleeping. I knew we were... I just didn't realize how much.

Well, it's time I toddle off. I am finished with my tea and quite ready for bed. I figure it's good to go to sleep early, since my stupid cold still hasn't let me drown it in hot water and herbs yet.

I hope you all had a blessed Christmas Season and New Years! I hope and pray that this year is better then the last, and that God might grant us a good leader for our country.

Civil War is less than five months away!

Peace Out Y'all!!

Oh, yeah I'm supposed to blog here....

Apologies in advance if this post feels a little random. I'm tired and sick.

Yesterday wass the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. In the Catholic Church, this is the Day the Mary, Mother of God and Queen of Heaven, was conceived in the womb of her mother, free of Original sin.

"Hail, full of Grace, The Lord is with thee!"

We've started the second week of Advent. I explain Advent every year, so I think most people know what it is at this point. Advent is just the four weeks before Christmas during which Catholics prepare for Christ's coming by doing extra prayer and sacrifice.  I love Advent. For me, that is the start of the Christmas season. On the First Sunday of Advent, Mom pulls out the Nativity set, but she only put's in one statue; the lamb. And every Sunday for the rest of Advent, we put another statue into the Nativity scene. On Christmas Eve we put in Mary, and on Christmas Morning we bring out the Christ Child and set Him in the manger. It is fabulous.

I seems I ought to give you a quick life-update. I am a terrible blogger, so every time I blog I end up dumping a ton of information on you. This time I will just try and stick with the important stuff. 'Kay? :)

I spent all morning cleaning. I stayed the night with my brother so I could help at with Chloe and Sammi, and I thought we could clean the house nice and pretty for Dad.... and it took for freaking ever. It's a good thing Tiny decided to stay the night with me, otherwise I never would have finished. Even as it was, we were working for something like three hours. Haha. Fun.

After that, I tried to write. But I didn't. Okay, I was supposed to do NaNo last month, but unfortunately that didn't work. I think NaNo puts too much pressure on me to write, and I end up making mistakes, and my stories don't turn out right because I force too much stuff down on paper. I think NaNo can be helpful. I think it really depends on my mood, the story I'm working on, and the amount of planning or world-building the story requires. All my new stories require a lot of world building, so I just need more than thirty days to get the story down on paper. I'm turning into one of those 500-words-a-day writers. I want to attempt a romance story this year. I've actually had an idea for one for a long time, I'm just worried to write it out. Romances usually end up being weird... and I think it would be hard to write, since I've never you know, been in love.

this gif.

Honestly, I haven't been doing as much writing as I should. I think I am too anxious to write. In like, a month, I am going to move in with my brother so I can nanny my two adorable nieces. I am kind of freaking out! I am excited, but scared, if you know what I mean. I mean, once I leave I will earn money and I can pay for dance classes and acting classes, and figure out the whole acting thing that I really want to pursue, but I am so scared! I'm really scared to learn dance. Dance teachers have a reputation of being terrifying. And I met one once. She was like, IF YOU CAN'T TAKE THE PAIN. DON'T PLAY.

This sounds pretty intense for beginning dance!

But on the other hand, if I really want to pursue Theatre - which I do - I have to know dance. So I'm at least gonna try. I have to try. My plan is to start off with beginning ballet and work my way up from there. Because ballet is the foundation of all dance!

I feel bad. This post was going to be really long and amazing, but I'm really tired and my head hurts. It's time I head off to bed, but I hope you all enjoyed hearing from me. I'll post again when I'm a little more awake and my energy levels are better.

Peace out y'all!

Guess what?? MUSICALS!!!!!!!!!

You know those people who have a five-year plan? They're the type of people who know exactly what they're going to do and they have all the details planned out.

I've never thought of myself as that person. I know that I want to try a bit of acting, and that is about as far as I've planned. Thinking about the future freaks me out so I think about it as little as possible. But I do have a few things that I definitely want to do now that I've graduated. And since I will probably face a lot of change over the next few months I figured I'd share my PLAN with you.

1.) I want to audition for the Community Theatre that is just off the hill from where they live.  Theatre is my big dream, it's something that I want to do so badly. I want to at least get my foot in with bigger acting experiences. If I could actually go on Broadway that would be beyond brilliant - even if it is Highly Unlikely. But however hard it is, I have to try, otherwise I will never forgive myself.

2.) One day I want to play Christine Daae. She is one of my favorite females on Broadway and her character holds a very special place in my heart. If I could play her I would be so very happy.

There will never be a day when I wont think of you!

*I'd use the original lyrics though, if they would let me.

3.) I want to see a professional production of The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Like,  in New York or London.

4.) I want to write a fantasy trilogy and (If at all possible) publish it.

5.) I want to write a musical. This is something I am working on but I am a tad stuck because of RESEARCH. *sigh* WWII.

6.) I want to explore Scotland.

7.) I want to go to Rome and visit all the Churches and the landmarks of Catholic History.

8.) I want to write a whole story in poetry.

It's not a huge list, but these are just some things I want to do over the next few years. It's hard to have plans because life could get in the way, but I don't think God wants me to live my life thinking "But what if?..." I think He wants me to plunge in and just take what it dishes out to me. I need to think of life like a baseball game and fight, no matter what the score. I have to be like, "Hey life! Try me! Just TRY ME!"

Haha! Easier said than done.

As for other news, I am still on a musical high. We watched The Phantom of the Opera again this week - I've actually lost count of how many times we've watched it since January. Don't judge me too harshly. It isn't all my fault. My sister is also on a musical kick and her obsession rubs off on me. We're both on a ridiculous Phantom high. I don't remember the last time I was this OBSESSED with Phantom of the Opera for so long! I've always loved it, it's always been my favorite, but I'm not usually listen-to-it-every-day-non-stop obsessive. I think I know why I am so nutty though. When I really love something and I hear lots of annoying hate about it, it just fuels my love for it even more and I get super defensive. And okay, tons of fans hate Raoul and it makes me mad. He is so brilliant! I honestly wonder how weird people are that they can read his character so wrong! It's annoying and I hate it. Then I get mad and listen to all I ask of you and Little Lotte, and Wandering Child, and the next thing I know I'm reciting the first lines of the Opera for the 100th Freakin' time.

SOLD! You're number sir? Thank you. *distant clapping*

Yeah, I have a problem. And my sister is just like. "Guess what I'm doing."

And I'm like "OOoooh, gee let me think. ANGEL OF MUSIC GUIDE AND GUARDIAN GRANT TO ME YOUR GLORY!"

.... and Treskie is like, "Yep, that's the one. Only more like "ANGEL OF MUSIC WHO DESERVES THIS???" And then we sing the whole final song over the phone.

The one upside to this is that I finally know all of Raoul's parts, and not just the lyrics. (I've known those for ages.) I know his notes and where he comes in and everything. It's great. The only song I still can't sing everyone's part in is Prima Donna. Mostly it's Carlotta. She is speaking so much Italian! I get confused okay?

When I am NOT obsessing over Raoul and Raoul/Christine, I am listening to A Tale of Two Cities, Secret Garden, Jekyll and Hyde or Jane Eyre, depending on the day. It's actually really nice. I get to sprawl outside with my notebook and scribble lyrics and plot devices for my different books, while I aggressively sing along with the different parts.

Prima donna, your song shall live again! Think of your public! - You took a snub, but there's a public who needs you. - Is this her angel of music...? - We get our opera - She gets her limelight!- Is this ghost-angel or a madman?!

I have lots of fun singing all five parts. I end up slurring the words though.

IHEARDSOMEONECRYINGIHEARDSOMEONECRYINGWHOTHOUGHCOULDITBEYESTHERE'SSOMEONECRYINGIHEARIHEARDSOMEONEIHEARDSOMEONE RCRINGMAYBEITWASMEOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooOOooooHHHH!!!!

I have a list of NEW musicals but I can't listen to any of them until I can find DVD and the pamphlet so I can read along with the story. West Side Story is the first one I need to tackle. Wish me luck with that!

hmmm. That's it folks. I have no more to say.

PEACE OUT Y'ALL!

R is for Rain.

BOMB-DIGGITY-BOMB

Is it already the middle of July? O.o How is this a thing?? I am just like.....

screeeeeeeam

It's been a really, really wet summer so far. We've had rain practically every night since the end of June, maybe even before that. And it's not warm rain. We get this nice autumn breeze that blows in and big sloppy rain drops and it's COLD. Fuzzy socks cold! You shouldn't need fuzzy socks in July. You shouldn't need blankets in July either, but you know how that goes. God has been very good to us with the rain, because we sorely need it, I'm just a little irritated with all the cold we've been getting. I don't like cold. But hey, we're nuts so we even SWAM in the rain.

Oh, I mean, not like in the puddles or anything, in the beach. we're not quite that crazy.

Last week however, there was this one rainstorm. It was huge. I have never actually witness sheets of rain until this rainstorm. We were driving around town a bit and we had to do this clever car-trade-off with a sister, and in the time we got out of one car and into the other, Treskie and I were soaked to the skin. Which was so fun! That wasn't even the best part though! We had hail, giant hail, the size of those big marbles you can get. It was incredible. I thought they were going to break the windshield. But we said a prayer and Our Lady was very good. We weren't killed.

After said rain pounded our town we had this massive puddle outside our lawn. I was feeling especially wild that evening - (It had been a long day.) and I decided I need to run throw the puddle multiple times, as hard as I could. So I got out my MP3 player, put in my earphones, turned up Fight Song and did just that.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

PUDDLES!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Then yesterday it as finally warm and sunny. I felt this needed a celebration, so Annie and I teamed up and made a few dozen cookies to devour. Annie is a good pal that way. I love her.

Le me cannot take selfies.

All in all it was a good day. As a bonus, I got a trip to the beach with my big sisters. Big sisters are deh best. that's all I'm saying.

Oh and hey, remember that musical I told you all about??? Yeah! me too! It is a work in progress and I even wrote a few songs. SONGS! *throws confetti.* I will share my plot the next time I pop in, since I think it deserves a post of it's own, but I will tell you a little something to help with the curiosity. READY???

DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!!!

It's a WWII musical.

Captain America approves

Alrighty, that's all for now. Y'all have a great weekend and eat lots of good food, and remember that life can still be good even if the world isn't. This is your fight song! PLAY IT LOUD!

Peace out y'all!
