"Thousands of Answers to One Simple Question, Open the Sky for Me Now..."

Jefferson

I'm not sure where this gif came from. But it greatly reflects my present mood. Writing should never hurt this much. But it does. And you know what? I HATE traitors.

I've been editing too long. *crosses eyes*
I been tagged by Jack!. Tagged!!! Tagged. TagGEd. TAgged. TAGGEd. TAgGeD. Yep. Tagged. I'm taking a break from my very important story to accept this tag, so pay attention.

I'm not sure what tag it IS, but I think its the Liebster one again, 'cause you have to do 11 facts and  answer 11 questions and MAKE 11 questions... the usual. Which is, ya' know.....

Fun

I am going to try and do my Eleven Facts without being annoying and witty. Lets see how that goes...
1. I am trying to do Camp NaNo and going crazy.
2. I have cried over my own writing.
3. I act compulsively. And I form a very deep connection with my character.
4. I love finishing a really good book but I hate finishing the last book of a great series.
5. I am still suffering from BUCKY!!! feels.
6. I hate Vegan Chocolate. I want it burnt. And then I want it crushed and burnt again.
7. I love Steve Rodgers and I think he is a very under-rated Avenger.
8. I like soft, fluffy pillows.
9. I think chocolate cake with vanilla icing is DELICIOUS
10. I'm trying to make a music video for Steve and Bucky.
11. I'm stuck trying to write this one chapter in my book and its making me mad.
I DID IT!
source

Now the questions from Jack!! (LalaLala!)

1. How do you feel about main character deaths?
I don't like them. Unless they are done REALLY well and even then I don't like them. They are upsetting and horrible. I HATE it when Authors kill of the main character. I also hate it when they kill off best friends and brothers. But I especially hate Main Character deaths. Don't do it.

 2. What does TADA! mean to you?
Loki

 3. If I walked up to you and yelled, or whispered, HAIL HYDRA! What would you do?
.......I would be really sad, first of all. (Jack, how COULD you?) then I'd probably smack you. Or hit you. Or kill you. I might kill you. I feel in a killing mood right now.

 4. If I gave you a pet duck would you take him for a walk in the park?
I don't know. If its a very nice duck I might.

 5. What was the last book you read that had you either crying, laughing, ready to fall out of your seat, forget how to breathe, or all of the above?
The Shadow Throne!!! I am TOTALLY doing a review on that book! It has given me so many feels! I couldn't have coped if I hadn't had a very nice friend to fangirl and yell with on chat. She has been very nice to me with that. She yells back and that is very helpful.

 6. You would come to a sleep over? We could make a tent out of blankets and sleep on couch cushions thrown on the floor.
I would definitely come to a sleep over!! We could have Icecream and watch The Winter Soldier and cry and scream and then we could yell about Jaron and scream some more because.... TOBIAS!!!! MOTT!!!!!! IMOGEN!!!!! RODEN!!!!

 7. What was the last song you listened to on repeat over and over?
You've got me Down on my Knees
But now I'm trying to Get Up.
You have Torn me Apart, Piece by Ppiece
And now I'm begging You to Stop!
In the mirror I see, You're staring back at me;
I am My Own Worst Enemy!!!!

 8. What was the last movie you saw that... gave you the same emotions I asked about with the book?
The Winter Soldier

It has been more than Four weeks and I am still not over the second Captain America. Do I have a problem? Yes. I have a very serious problem.

 9. Do you think reindeer are better than people?
No. (sorry Kristoff) My best friends are all people *smile*

 10. How do you feel about the giant rats of Somalia?
ROUS's? I don't believe they exist.

 11. When you were a kid did you used to play Cowboys and Indians? (Germans. I mean Cowboys and Germans.) (PLEASE tell me someone got that reference.)
.... Is this a WWII thing? I think it is. During the war didn't boys used to play Cowboys and Germans instead of Cowboys and Indians?? .... But I don't know if that is the reference you wanted me to get. If it isn't, then I'm sorry. I failed you. Does this make us even?

My Questions

1.) If you had a choice would you visit Rivendell or the Shire?
2.) Have you read The Ascendance Trilogy?
3.) Do you tend to like the Villain BETTER than the hero? (This means in everything, mind you)
4.) Are you a Tolkien Purist?
5) Are you a Marvel fan or just an Avengers fan?
6.) What book are you reading RIGHT NOW, and is it good?
7.) What is the first thing that comes to mind when think of trains?
8.) Have you ever had Vegan Chocolate? (If not, don't. DO NOT EVER)
9.) Have you ever cried in the Theatre?
10.) Would you go shopping with me dressed as your favorite Avenger?
11.) Do you think Frozen is overrated?

I know I'm suppose to tag eleven people, but I've already done this whole "Award thing" two or three times now and I feel REALLY BAD re-tagging people. So I'll do five (One of whom is a geek and JUST got a blog  because some of us joined together and yelled at her to get one)

Cait

You are not DUTY BOUND to accept this tag. I will not mope or pout if you quietly forget about it.

With that I'm away!!! *Slides off car*

Happy Late New Year!

Rose Tyler

Happy Be-lated New Year all of you! I'm sorry I wasn't here for the big day, I had a nice post planned and everything, but I was quite, quite ill on New Year's and was sleeping for most of the day. which means I have to do yet another post a day late and a dollar short. Its becoming a bad habit with me. *sigh*

To celebrate the arrival of January and hope for the new page of the story, I've decided  to  do Ally's tag from last year.

What did you do in 2013 you'd never done before?

Want to know something terrible? I can't think of anything! I.. erm... I finished Tenth Grade. I started a book that I actually might finish. I started making music videos.....

Real busy year.

Did you keep your New Year's resolutions and will you be making a new one?

I don't do Resolutions. They never really work out for me and then I feel like a loser.

Did anyone close to you give birth?

No, but two of my sisters are expecting!!

Did anyone close to you die?

My best friend's dad passed away last year and he was a really good family friend so that was very hard.

What countries/states did you visit?

I went to Idaho for a couple of weeks where I met two of my bloggy friends which was very fun indeed. I also go to Nevada twice a month but that doesn't really count cause we only live about 40 minutes away from the border.

What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?

I'd like to have a better mind-set when it comes to school because... I'm really unmotivated when it comes to school. I would also like a role in a play/musical

What date from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory?

August 31st, the Day our family reunion began - hands down the best day of the year.

Did you move anywhere

Erm...no.

What was the Best month?

September, the month my entire family was altogether and there was an overwhelming amount of adorable wee-ones rushing about the premises.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Passing 10th Grade Math.

What was your biggest failure?

I didn't finish NaNo :''(

What was the best thing you bought?

Once Upon a Time Season 2. That show...*sigh*

Whose behavior merited celebration?

I can't answer that......

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

A certain black man of high authority.

Where did most of your money go?

Christmas Presents!!!!

What's the best concert you've been to this year?

I didn't go to a concert this year :(

What song or Album will always remind you of 2013?

Probably any song from Imagine Dragons, but especially River.

Compared to this time last year are you:
1. Happier or Sadder - Happier
2. thinner of fatter - About the same
3. Richer or poorer -  eh, so-so. We're definitely not rich

What do you wish you'd done more of?

I wish I'd been able to take a couple more acting classes, that would've been nice.

What do you wish you'd done less of?

I shouldn't worry so much, I need to relax a little. Also, I probably shouldn't spend quite so much time on Pinterest... *blush*

How did you spend Christmas?

At home with my family, just like always.

How are you spending your New Year?

Well I spent most of my New Year napping because I wasn't particularly well, but I was able to come out and enjoy a lovely meal with my family and do a little bit of celebrating during the evening. I was really tired though, which sucked.

Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?

My best friend Sammi!

What was the best book you read?

I really loved The Castaways of the Flying Dutchman, and The Angels Command. Those were both brilliant books. So was Leap of Faith but that's not a new discovery or anything. I read it every now and then to life my spirits. Its so sweet and beautiful and sad ... *sniffle*

Did you fall in love in 2013?

Unless fictional characters count, no.

What was your favorite TV Show?

Oh I had a couple....

Once Upon a Time is a fairly new show and I, personally, quite like it. It is really fun and exciting and it has some really brilliant characters in it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a little fantasy with some magic, sword-fights and a truly amazing villain. But be warned - its the type of show that could have been EPIC, and as it is, its good and you enjoy it. My favorite characters are Rumplestiltskin and Belle. Love story aside, both these characters are interesting, well acted and fun to learn about. I also really like Neal and Henry.

Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate at this time last year?

No, but there are some people I don't really like anymore.

What did you want and get?

A new Computer. Oh, and a brown hoodie. That was the best moment of Christmas Morning you guys.

What did you want and not get?

I didn't get to take that Broadway class at the College which is really sad for me.

What were your favorite films of this year?

Does this mean New-Releases or movies I've only just watched this year? I'm going with movies I watched :)

Angel in the House- incredibly cute, family-friendly movie with a beautiful message and a touching storyline. Definitely worth your time.

Frozen - Disney's newest animated movie, enjoyable and fun to watch with just an undertone of seriousness and the little romance that Disney always has.

Monsters University - A prequel to Monsters Inc. Pixar delivered a wonderful cartoon that had you surprisingly emotional and gave you a nice, happy feeling everywhere. I loved it :)

Rise of the Guardians - One of the best movies you'll ever watch. Just go find it and you'll see why its one of my favorites!

Thor; the Dark world - I think Thor is an incredibly underrated avenger. I've always liked him and in this last movie he was really amazing and brilliant, and he and Loki were a lot of fun to watch. I do wish people would stop saying Loki is a hero, or that he's better than Thor. I love Loki, I do, and I think there is good still in him and he could be redeemed and make a turn-around, but he is a bad man and he deserves what he gets. That being said, I really liked him and Thor working together in this movie. Brother stories, man, they're the best. Brother and Friendship stories - nothing like them. They're my favorite.

What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?

Wow. Okay, give me a minute while I think back to January of last year. I believe I spent the day with my family, watched a fun movie and had my best friend over for the night. I can't remember the movie, but I think I got a Taylor Swift CD and some Pajama's. Anyway, it was a lovely day.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2013?

I tried really hard to adopt Belle's style from Once Upon a Time, But mostly I was all over the board.

What kept you sane?

Well, I'm already insane, so the better question is; What kept you functioning? - My amazing friends, both on my street and online. My Family. My obsessions and Fandoms. My books. Looking forward to Christmas.

What celebritie/public figure did you fancy the most?

This is a tricky one, because there are a lot of actors I've seen this past year that I have quite liked/ I really like Matt Smith and his mates Arthur Darvill and Karen Gillan, they are brilliant. But I suppose the two actors whom I just discovered and fell in love with would be these guys.

They just seem so sweet, so descent and normal.

What would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

Not freaking out so much over things I can't control. Well, no freaking out on the whole would have been nice :)

What Political Issue stirred you the most?

I don't pay attention to politics but there was one thing that caught my interest. You have probaby all heard of the show Duck Dinesty. Its a Live-TV shows that feauture these firm, Christian men and their families and their daily lives. Well, one of these fellows was asked his opinion on the....queers, and he said he didn't agree with it. That's it. The station that asked the question went into an uproar and threatened to throw him off the show, but his family said they would stop the show if their Uncle wasn't allowed back on and the next thing you knew, the Uncle was in the next episode! But seriously guys, what the heck? If you ask a Christian who is obviously VERY DEVOUT in his faith, what his view are on immorality, what do you expect him to say? there were hundreds upon thousands of people defending this man, some of them being Queer people themselves. It was crazy.

Who did you miss?

Oh, my family mostly. and a couple good family-friends that live a long ways away and whom we don't get to see very often.

Who was the best person you met?

I don't meet a whole lot of people. I'm very isolated here, in this tiny neighborhood in the mountains. I didn't really meet anyone this year, but I got to know some people better - especially my bloggy friends!

Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013

I'm not so worried about what people think anymore. I've always been more outgoing then the rest of my family, but its hard sometimes, to just be me and not care, especially when people you know don't seem to approve. But I figure, God made me so he must want me the way I am, quirks and all, and I shouldn't try to be anyone but me.

Now I feel all cheesy and chick-flicky.....

Quote a song or lyrics that sums up your year.

Just because everything's changing
doesn't mean its never been this way before

All you can do is try to know who your friends are
as you head off to the war.
Pick a star on the dark horizon and, follow the light!
I'll come back, when you call me.
No need to say goodbye.

Five personal significant events.

I finished Tenth Grade
I started a story that actually has a plot
My whole family came together for an entire week in September.
I took an acting class

I discovered Imagine Dragons

Five things I want to do in 2014

Act in a play
Finish my story
Do Nano (maybe?)
Finish 11th grade.
Take the college Broadway class

Five people I'd like to know  better in 2014.

My bloggy friends!! So original right?

Now once again, happy late-New Year. The very best wishes to all of you, in your home and in your personal life, and may this year be better than the last - just remember, when times are tough; Christmas is coming!

God bless!

The Night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse....

I can't stay long.....

Hello all! I'm sorry the post is so late but I've been very busy having a wonderful Christmas Eve and a blessed Fourth Week of Advent. I love Christmas at my home, our Christmas's are just brilliant, and this year we had an unexpected Early-Christmas celebration; We have these amazing friends up the street who are kind of like an extension to our family and a few nights ago we went and spent the evening with them. While we were there we exchanged Christmas gifts because we wouldn't be seeing each other on the big day. It was so much fun!! I got the nicest little gift from my best-y. Its a Once-Upon-A-Time bracelet with a quote by Rumpelstiltskin on it.  I was overjoyed.
Once Upon A Time Hand Stamped All Magic comes with a Price Aluminum Cuff Bracelet
OUAT bracelt
Rumple
That started the week off rather well I thought.

And then we got Christmas Eve, my favorite Day besides Christmas itself. First we decorate everything, and then turn on the Christmas music and clean and scrub and congress into the kitchen where we start the real fun. We start baking. As you all know, my family takes baking very seriously. On feast days, during vacation, when we want to organize an event, our first thought is to the food. That's my favorite thing about Christmas Eve, all the baking that goes on. The only down-side is that you can't really taste anything because its Advent. So you are stirring chocolate and smelling brownies and mixing cookie batter, and unable to try any of it. Still, its fun.

I was quite overwhelmed *smirk* I should be holding a rainbow. You know. La!!!!!
Unfortunately there aren't many pictures of me because I'm the designated Family Photographer. But I got lots and lots of pictures of the festivity so you can all get a peak at what happens when Christmas Eve comes to our home.

After the baking was done we adjourned to the living room and, being the church choir, we practiced some hymns for Christmas Mass and sounded beautiful, If I do say so myself.  Then we got into our comfy pajama's, whipped up a batch of hot cider and roasted chestnuts while listening to old-time radio shows. Right at this moment I am listening to The Great Gildersleeve Christmas. He is so funny! I remember being really little and listening to The Great Gildersleeve and I wonder why radio-shows ever went out of style. There is nothing quite like them.

Now I will bid you all farewell and join my family for the remainder of the evening. If I don't get the chance to blog tomorrow, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

God Bless!

My Story and my Life

Wow. Can you believe its only six days until Christmas? Seriously? How did that happen? Where did November go?? I wish Advent wouldn't go by so quickly, its the waiting and preparing that are the best and we all know it.

I have a few things to say. I just finished The House of Hades, the most recent Percy Jackson book.

Erm......

I may have to do a review on it. I mean, it was good and I really enjoyed reading it but..... Yeah, I'll do a review, then I can vent a bit. RICK RIORDAN!!  You are ruining my life Rick! Do you hear that? RUINING MY LIFE??

I can hear my other fandoms laughing. *Sniff* well its not funny. I take the realm of fiction very seriously and I would be nice if, every once in a while, I didn't feel like throwing shoes. That would be nice.

I wish my fictional characters would stop smirking at me too. I know they think I'm hilarious, but I'm actually really upset. I actually did throw shoes after watching an episode from a certain Fairytale show that decided to take a nasty little twist which I TOLD IT not to take.

And then House of Hades.

**Headdesk**

I'm moving on now -

We've been decorating the house for Christmas, so now we've got holly across our doorways and Christmas lights around our Nativity Scene. We're going to start baking for Christmas tomorrow, which will be epically fun because it always is. We're gonna listen to loud Christmas music, where aprons, bang cupboard doors, yell for sugar, the whole nine. But we can't taste anything. Cause ya' know.... Advent.

I wrote some more of my story today, and now I'm not entirely sure if Tyron is going to stay -The-Son-of-A-Pirate, or simply an unfortunate tag-along of the doomed pirate ship. I'm not liking Tyron much, I think I may have to kill him. well not really, just to vent off steam. I'll bring him back with the special *Backspace* button. But he is getting under my skin. I can't trust him. No one can. He's sort of a turd.

A loveable turd.

Nope, not you Rumple. Go away.

I'm rather happy too, because my NaNo group is going to continue having Writing Meetings, even without NaNo. So now I have something to push me. I'll be the first to admit, I'm rather lazy when it comes to writing, especially when its a Pick-Up-Where-You-left-Off book. I find myself getting Editor-Happy.
This story is gonna need some work, especially in the villain area. My villains are always muttering, I don't think they know how to speak at full volume. I need to go in and fix that. And Dimitri....

Dimitri just needs happiness in his life. Poor Dimitri. Here I am, complaining about all the fictional characters that are destroying my emotional life, and I've created one just like them.

Broken.
Sad
Empty
Thinks little of himself

Yay. Perfect yes? *throws shoes* I think My fandoms are talking.

As a little treat my brother took me to see the new Disney movie Frozen.

I really enjoyed it! It wasn't as good as Tangled, but I'd like to own it someday. The soundtrack was quite lovely, and I liked the songs too, though for those of you who don't like Broadway you mightn't be so keen on them. The singing had more of that Chest-voice in it unlike Tangled. As far as plot and characters go, it was well done and well handled. I don't think they went quite far enough with the Ice Princess bit, but that could just be me. It felt like their could have been a bit more, ya' know? I will say the animation was beautiful. It was fun to look and the snow took your breath away. If snow looked like that in the real world I might not mind it so much.

But I'd still have to shovel. Nope, snow is snow is snow. This snow just happened to be really lovely. I second Olaf. Lets bring back Summer!!!!!!

There was this one song I want to learn and maybe sing for Singing Class - If I am able to. Its really catch-y and fun to sing, especially the refrain. Its sung by Idina Menzel, so if you don't like her voice just listen to the lyrics. Its still brilliant.

HERE I STAND!!
HERE I'LL STAY!!
LET THE STORM RAGE ON!!!!!
The cold never bother me anyway.

When I watched this bit in the theatre I was enthralled. It gave you a rush to say the least. I actually said aloud; Well... That escalated quickly.

So if you want a fun movie, go watch Frozen. Its worth it. And the trolls aren't even that bad.

As for the rest of my life, I'm doing pretty okay. I mean between Fictional Trauma and all that. I've finished my Christmas shopping and now I've got my gifties under the tree which makes me totally excited. Our crib for Baby Jesus is being filled with straw and the Third Candle on the Advent has been lit. Christmas is coming. The thing with the straw is actually a cool tradition. We cut out strips of colored paper, and every time you make a sacrifice or say a prayer you get to put a piece of straw into Christ's crib. Its like our gift to him. I love it.

I also love being on Christmas vacation. No more school for two, maybe three whole weeks!

Okay.
I have nothing left to say and another chapter of my story to write. My characters won't leave me alone until I do. You know how characters are. So I'll see you all soon-ish and I hope you have a very happy week. I'll try to post again at Christmas. If I don't.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**KEVINLIVES!!**

God Bless!

Pile of good things

Pile of good things
