'If giants come this way...' "Feel free to blast them" 'What about annoying tourists?' "No."

Hey guys, this post is gonna be pretty quick. I just don't have much to say *shrug*

First Off,
I went to my first acting/musical class on Monday.  We only have eight people in the group, and usually you have to have 12 or the class is cancelled, but hopefully, we'll still be able to make it go. I really we can, because it sounds like it would be a whole lot of fun. We'll be able to sing duets, play out scenes from musical, mess around with songs, work on theatrical numbers and presence on stage... everything an actress like me needs. It also sounds like its going to be a pretty go-with-the-flow, play-by-ear, have fun type class. This is what I've been looking for! Something fun and musical. So yeah, I really hope it ends up going. Please. *crosses fingers*

I finished The Mark of Athena today and just about had a heart attack. I set the book down all calm, went about my life like I wasn't scarred, acted normal. Then it hit. And suddenly I was emotionally freaked. First I was like

Then I was like

I made Myself breathe. *relax, relax...* BREATHE!
I can't breathe, I'm DYING! DYING!! Did you not just read what happened to Annabeth? What Percy Did?? this is not okay! This is never gonna be okay!!
So then when I had to munch on chocolate and wish I didn't have so many depressing stories in my life. Even my book are getting hard. Why am I drawn to heartbreak? Why can't I find something that doesn't make you want to cry? Or scream? Or want to flail and run into a wall? WHERE IS THE HOUSE OF HADES????

I took my almost-three year old niece out yesterday and we collected and cracked several bowls of pine nuts. Its been a very long time since I've actually spent ours with shells between my fingernails, so when I woke up this morning I had this strange tingling. In my fingers. You know that funny feeling you get when you've been breaking nuts all day? It feels prickly and tender. Kind of like when you take to the monkey bars after months of winter. Only its pine nuts and finger tips. But it was worth it, because today Sammy -my niece- knows how to crack nuts between her teeth.  "look auntie Bella! look what I can do!!" I watched her crack that nut, and even with my tender fingers I was pleased. I'm the best aunt ever :)

Also, I am currently making fandom pictures for my pins and should have pictures by the end of the week. Don't judge me. I've been busy with Algebra and tests and the basics of professional public speaking. I haven't had a LOT of time for fandom pins. BUT I WILL FINISH THEM! And soon!

Okay.... I'm sort of have no news left. And we are watching a highly amusing Leverage and laughing at Elliot's violent cooking. So now, I will say goodnight and have a good time with my favorite thief team. Stay tuned, I'll be back!!

God Bless!

I fume a bit and discuss a giveaway

When this day began I was all excited thinking "Oh boy! I'm gonna enroll in the Musical Theatre class at the College!!" Now I sit in my room in huddled annoyance, fuming at the Inexplicable College Complication. Its worse than signing up for the FBI For pity sake!! It feels like no one knows the rules because everyone contradicts each other and those who don't contradict have no idea what you're talking about. You leave there feeling a wee bit nuts.  EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. I have to go through this!! Its almost not worth it to take the class!! It is soooo complicating and harassing! You run around all day being told to go here, go there, go back here, run to there, step out of line, get a signature, get back in line, get this form, fill it out, turn it in, wait in line, get another signature, get a new form. Fill it out. Talk to a Councillor. Go back and get your first form. Have another signature. AHHHHHHH!
and then finally you get home with the flippin little pink slip in your hands, a slip soooo important you had to wait ALL DAY to get it, and some well-meaning sister says "how did it go?"
"Just don't talk to me. Okay? I'm in a mood.

So then I had to browse pinterest for a bit in an effort to settle my highly agitated nerves. Never unleash me onto pinterest after a crazy day. I get all pin-ninja and upon finding a good board I'm like "I love you so I shall repin ALL of your pins!! Msahahahhahakjkkjldfjsldkjfl!!!! PINNING IS SO FUN!!

Okay, as you have probably figured I'm a bit frazzled tonight. I started school last week and school is like... well its like School. Its annoying and difficult and Algebra seems to believe its goal in life is to give me a problem say, 'Figure it out!' and laugh when the answer is 4.52 instead of Ab(h)=77cubed. Haha math. You're hilarious. Ever seen fire?
............ Fine, maybe its not that bad. But Algebra and I don't have a nice back-story and I will be quite happy to close it for a last time.I'll celebrate with Doctor Who. And than I'll have pretzels.

Now its time to get down to business.

The Real Reason I did this post was to discuss a giveaway. now a little while back I mentioned doing this giveaway, but then I had family and life and decided giveaways could wait. However, I shall now talk about it.
Basically, I'm going to be making some pins at Fan-Themed; Doctor Who, Merlin, Sherlock, Once Upon a Time, and Supernatural. I have some idea's on what I'll theme, and they'll probably be quite cool. Wait, wait Wait!! don't start moping that I have no pictures. I honestly and truly have not had the time to spend 3 hours making fandom pins. BUT If enough of you want me to do this giveaway I will rush off to the library tomorrow and make all the pins I wish. And you can see my master work in full when I post that night. What do you all think? Yes?

speaking of fandoms and pretzels, I've started reading The Mark of Athena. OMGOSH. I am in love with it already and I've barely begun! Annabeth is acting a bit... odd when it comes to Percy though. Or I'm just a huge Percy fan and am like "Jee wiz, when the heck do I get a chapter about the HERO?? who cares about Leo?? Wait, no I love Leo. But can't we get a little Percy?? PLEASE?? Because I'm so wired I'm probably going to pull a super-sonic late-nighter so I can finish the book and find out the devastating Sherlock Cliffhanger everyone raves about. Why do I do this to myself? Why do all my heroes have to have so much heartache? Heck, even Peter Jones left me curled up in a blanket with cocoa close by. And I've heard that just gets worse. JACK!!!!! >

Well... I think I'm done raving. So with that truly amazing post, I'm off to eat cookies with my best friend and psych myself up for the next Supernatural. Allons-y!

Goodbye for now.

Its hard for me to believe that its been more than a week since my amazing family surprised my mom and dad with the most epic and wonderful visit in the whole universe. I find it a bit depressing actually. the house is oddly quiet and there aren't a bunch of small children running about with stick guns or playing the princess and the witch. It's all very upsetting. So to cheer myself up I'm going to do a post on how AWESOME our family reunions are and how much fun we had, and not to sulk because its done now.

We had been talking this get-together for more than 2 years, See, I have these two sisters who are married and live far far away from us, so we only see them every two to three years give or take. So when Mom and Dad had their 33rd wedding anniversary, we decided that for their 35th, we surprise them and get all the kids together at the same time. This was an exciting notion since the whole family hadn't been together for like, a decade. Of course, for the first year and a half, the visit was something far off and yo didn't think much about it. Than August rolled around and suddenly the visit was in our immediate future. Keeping the secret wasn't so easy anymore. When Mom and Dad would say "We're gonna do so-and-so next week" You would catch yourself saying 'but the - yeah, that's sounds fine." I thought I'd go mad. In the end though, the surprise was well worth it.

so I can't rant and rave about EVERYTHING that went on during that week, because other sisters want to post too, but lets just say

Seriously, it was the PERFECT WEEK. And there was a total cuteness overload. So many wee ones!!!!

And let me tel you guys, having s'mores have never been more fun. You should try chocolate and marshmallows combined with 11 small children 7 and younger. Its a blast

eating delicious hot S'moes wasn't even the best of it. We hiked

and swam
and played volleyball, and went to the park and played lots of fun rambunctious games
I have the best brother-in-law ever :)

We danced and danced, and danced and danced.

Thank you Dan, for teaching me. You are epicness! And dancing is soooo much fun :D

and erm, we had way too much fun with food.

We also got family pictures taken. This was the best of all of it really. The last family picture we got is a bit rubbish, not only was it taken 9 years ago, but all the people near the bottom have their chins cut off. Which sucks. Anyway, the guy that took our pictures was brilliant. He was so nice and flexible and I really liked him. He got pictures of each family, than just the grand kids, and than a group shot. As a final we even got a picture of my Mom and Dad, which is amazing since I can't remember the last time they had a picture professionally. It was loads of fun.

Also, I have the best brother-in-law's ever. Look what they would do!

They are the best ever!! And want to know the crowning moment? One of my sisters was going to leave Friday morning, three days before the other, and her husband is so epic he let her stay a whole day more, even though he still had to work on Monday. one word?

We all ran and hugged him cause he was that amazing. *Sigh*

All in all we had a magical week, God was very good to us. Of course, I wish it had been a magical two weeks, but at least it happened right? I wish it hadn't gone by so fast, and I wish hello's didn't always have to have a goodbye after them. saying goodbye is no fun.

Yeah well, endings still suck. I hate saying goodbye, its is really, really hard. I was able to keep myself together through the hugging and the waving and the 'Bye!! Bye!! We'll miss you!" but the day after everyone left I went about feeling depressed and empty. and then it hit me. THEY'RE GONE!! :'(

Soo.... that's why I didn't post for so long. I was having way too much fun with my awesome family to bother with blogging. But now I hope to be around more often. And now I must go, because I have spent waaay too much time on my computer as I had far too many pictures to choose from.

Good- No. See you soon!!

Here I am - I'm alive!!

Guess what!!! I'm back!

I've had some tags and comments encouraging me to update, because - well I needed to. I feel really bad because it has been absolute AGES since I've posted. but guess what! this time I have a good reason!! My family came up for the week and the whole time they were here I didn't have much time to be on the computer. When I have more time I will do a big long post on how awesome my family is and how much I love family reunions. But since I don't have much time I'm going to do the tag Jack hit me with. It has to do with a book written by Joan. And here it is.

1. What is your favourite Historical Mystery book?

I don't really read historical fiction. I know, horrible of me. there was one book I read called My Secret War Which was really good. So probably that one.

2. Would you rather read a Classic or a Mystery?

It depends on the classic, but probably a mystery.

3. How do you think Christmas at the Tittletons will compare to your favourite mystery?

From what I read on Kathryn's blog is sounds pretty good, the kind of book I would pick up from a shelf, stroke the cover and grin gleefully. I haven't been able to find many books like that lately, which makes me sad.

4. How do you think Christmas at the Tittletons will compare to your favourite Classic?
Erm...... I haven't read North and South but it is my favorite classic at the moment, so her book will be competing with that. It will probably live up to its expectations :)

5. Do you think you would like to write a Historical Mystery sometime?

No. I'm too lazy to write a mystery. That's actually the main problem with most of my books, I get discouraged to easily. I'm not much of a writer. I write sporadically and stop for weeks at a time. And that's why I'm not a author.

Now for the guidelines. Excuse me, rules.

1. Please post ALL the rules

2. Please answer ALL the questions

3. Comment on THIS post when you have completed the tag and include a link to your tag post (I'm guessing this means I link back to Jack (?) which I have already done at the top of my post)

4. Tag five other people
5. Let the people know that you tagged them

I tag!
